For a team that won the Premier League title last May, it is safe to say that Chelsea have plunged into unforeseeable depths this Season. The Blues currently sit 10th in the Premier League table and anything more than a Europa League finish would be a huge bonus.

Despite all the doom and gloom of this Season, the arrival of Antonio Conte in the upcoming summer would give Chelsea a lot of impetus. The Italian has an immaculate experience of coaching at the top level with Juventus in the Serie A.

However, if Conte wants to succeed at the Stamford Bridge, he should cut the deadwood that has left his Predecessors at the Chelsea hot seat red-faced.

Here are 3 Players Chelsea should sell at the end of this Season …

Diego Costa

Although he is still loved among the Chelsea faithful, the temperament of the Spaniard has led to his downfall at Chelsea. His first season at Chelsea was absolutely brilliant, however, when the wind started to blow against him, Costa didn’t play according to the plans of his Manager.

Thus, while he still has some of his best years ahead of him, Chelsea would be better if they could replace Costa with another World Class forward in the upcoming summer.

Loïc Remy

Although there was huge potential when Remy signed for Chelsea last season, that potential hasn’t developed into a promise, this time, around. Remy has been unable to cement his place in the Chelsea lineup and with Conte arriving in the summer, it is likely that he would want better options up front that Remy.

Baba Rahman

With all due respect to Rahman, his performances in the last few months haven’t done well to silence his critics. When he arrived at Chelsea in the 2014/15 summer transfer window, many of his critics pointed out that the lack of physicality might land the Ghanaian International in problems in the Premier League. And looking at his performances – although they have been few and far between, it is safe to say that Rahman isn’t a tailor made defender for English football.
