The chief of Sony Pictures, Tom Rothman, finally revealed the new title of its next ‘Spider-Man’ movie. The official name of the movie was unveiled as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Before the title of the film was revealed, many people supposed that the name of the movie would be this only, when Sony Pictures reserved ‘SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com’ domain a week back. But, since this was not confirmed officially, Spiderman fans eagerly looked forward to the new title of the film.

Tom Holland, who plays the lead role of Spider-Man in the movie, justifies by saying that homecoming is the apt name for the film. He says, “It really is a homecoming…because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world.”

One of the main unique things about this movie is that it is the first solo Spider-Man film that is made with the partnership of Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. The new Peter Parker is all set to debut his role on May 6 in Captain America: Civil War. His fans are eager to see him on the screen once again as Spiderman after he came in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2015.

In addition to Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei will be a part of the cast, who will play the role of Aunt May, along with Zendaya who will play a lead character, namely Michelle, for the upcoming action film. Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is directed by Jon Watts, will be released on July 7, 2017.
