If you’re a fan of the Boss and haven’t yet witnessed him in action so far this year, you’re in luck as Bruce Springsteen has announced that he will do a show in Gillette Stadium later this year. According to his representatives, the show will take place on September 14 this year.

After revamping their river tour to accommodate more venues for this year, Springsteen along with his band have given a myriad of dates to the U.S. audience this summer. He started the River Tour in January where he released the likes of “The Ties that Bind: The River Collection.

A lot of controversies has surrounded the singer this year after he announced to cancel his concert in April. Making sure to record his protest over the controversial “Bathroom Bill” which subjugated the rights of LGBT’s, Springsteen canceled his North Carolina show in order to show his resentment towards the local authorities.

While at one end his fans were dismayed of missing a golden chance to see him in action, they were also very happy with the stance that the Singer had taken to epitomize his care for the social issues.

The Protest was recorded against a law that made it compulsory for the transgender residents of the State to use the Gender-prescribed bathrooms.

Thus, after earning praise from the likes of Miley Cyrus and Melissa McCarthy for his decision in April, Springsteen is now back to work, as suggested by his recent announcement.

The show that will take place on September 14 will be his last of this year. That includes 8 Statewide shows that will start from May 14 to 31 July.

In case you’re wondering on where to get the tickets from, they will go on sale from May 20, 10a.m. on the ticket master website.
