One ex-student perfectly knows how to use the phrase, “killing two birds with one stone.” The name of this student is Antonette White, who accomplished an extraordinary feat of graduating both high school as well as college together.

White, who is 17 years old, told “TODAY” that she never had such plans of graduating from both the schools all at once, but it happened by chance.

White always kept college as her second priority. She grew up on the Cayman Islands, where she stayed with her dad, Anthony White. Her father used to give sociology lectures that she too attended, when she was just a child.

Then, they settled in Peoria, Illinois. At this time, White was aged 13 years and her dad started teaching at the Illinois Central College. Here, her father started taking her English and Math tests in order to check if she could be eligible for entering the college. To his surprise, Antonette passed the tests. Her dad then took the dean’s permission and after this White attended the night classes at the college.

Despite all this hard work and studying, White managed to maintain a fine balance between her studies and her ‘me’ time. She went on trips with her family and hanged out with friends. Moreover, she told “TODAY,” that she never took over two classes at the college per semester.

White soon graduated her high school, scoring a 3.9 GPA. She also graduated her college and associate’s at the same time with a GPA of 3.6. Her future plans include going to the Illinois State University as a junior and then getting a major in international business.
